About this design

At the heart of this design sits a compact rosette of tightly scrolled arabesques, encircled by an eight-point star medallion whose pointed lobes radiate outward in four-fold symmetry. A second ring of bold, stylised floral petals — each edged with fine outline stitching — frames the core, creating a sense of expanding depth. The entire composition is set within a smooth oval cartouche outlined by a thin fillet, beyond which an intricate interlocking star-lattice fills the field with continuous geometric rhythm.

The oval format and strong central focal point make this design an ideal choice for the main prayer hall, where it anchors the qibla axis and draws the eye toward the mihrab wall. Its contained, non-directional geometry also suits a single statement piece beneath a central dome or chandelier. Corridor and antechamber installations benefit from the design's self-contained oval shape, which tiles cleanly without awkward cut lines.
