Ottoman Oval Medallion — Layered Rumi & Floral Arabesque
A radially symmetrical oval medallion built from nested rumi scrolls, pointed petal rosettes and dense arabesque tendrils, framed by a beaded outer border.
About this design
The design is structured as a single large oval medallion composed of four concentric zones. At the core sits a compact eight-petal rosette encircled by spiral rumi scrolls; this nucleus radiates outward into a bold eight-pointed star formed by interlocking pointed lobes. The third zone expands the composition with large palmette-tipped arabesques and curling cloud-scroll volutes, all maintaining perfect four-fold symmetry. The outermost ring is a continuous beaded or pearl-dot border that cleanly defines the oval silhouette.
This format is ideally suited to main-hall focal placements directly beneath a central dome, where the oval geometry mirrors the dome's circular projection. It also performs well as a standalone feature piece on a mihrab wall or as a prestige accent in a mosque's entrance vestibule. The self-contained oval repeat requires no tile-matching, simplifying installation in irregularly proportioned spaces.
Available in ten colorways; importers should request the digital repeat file to verify pile-direction alignment before bulk cutting. The carpet meets EN 13501-1 fire-classification requirements. Minimum order quantities and lead times are confirmed at the proforma stage.
