Selçuk Star Rosette — Interlaced Geometric Medallion with Floral Crown
A grand circular medallion built on a dense 12-fold star lattice, encircled by scrolling arabesques and a radiating outer crown of daisy rosettes and bead chains.
About this design
The centrepiece is a perfectly symmetrical circular field filled with an interlaced 12-point star girih lattice, generating a continuous rhythm of pointed stars, triangles and hexagonal voids across the entire medallion face. A concentric ring of fluid rumi scrolls and small six-petal florets forms a transitional halo between the geometric core and the outer decorative zone, balancing mathematical precision with organic movement.
The outer corona radiates outward with alternating acanthus-style leaf sprays, paired rumi volutes and evenly spaced daisy-head rosettes, all anchored by a bead-and-ring chain that defines the medallion's perimeter. The composition is self-contained and fully centred, making it ideal as a focal-point piece for main prayer halls, beneath dome centres, or as a prestige accent on mihrab walls. Corridor runners can be produced by repeating the medallion on a staggered axis.
Available in ten standard colorways; custom sizing from 2 × 3 m to full hall layouts is supported with no pattern distortion. The design is woven to EN 13501-1 fire-classification standards, and digital repeat files are supplied with every order to assist installers in aligning adjacent modules.
