Stellar Rosette Medallion — Eight-Pointed Floral Sunburst
A bold eight-pointed rosette medallion radiating layered floral lobes and interlaced arabesques from a compact star core, outlined throughout in crisp cartouche contours.
About this design
The design is anchored by a tight eight-pointed star at its centre, from which branching arabesque tendrils spiral outward in perfect bilateral symmetry. Each arm resolves into a broad, scalloped lobe filled with secondary floral rosettes and small diamond accents, creating three concentric tiers of ornament before the outer silhouette terminates in pointed ogival petals — giving the full medallion the appearance of a monumental celestial flower.
The repeat structure is a single non-tiling medallion intended as a focal centrepiece, making it ideal for the main prayer hall directly in front of the mihrab wall, where worshippers' sight lines converge. Its strong radial geometry also reads powerfully on oversized single-piece carpets laid beneath a central dome, and scaled-down versions suit individual mihrab alcove rugs.
Importers should note that this design is woven as a standalone medallion panel and pairs naturally with a coordinating plain-field or saff-repeat field carpet for full hall coverage. Available in ten standard colorways; custom sizing and pile-height specifications accepted on orders of 500 m² and above.
