At the heart of this design sits a tight eight-pointed star nucleus that radiates outward through three concentric geometric registers, each constructed from interlocking kite and rhombus girih tiles. The outermost structural ring resolves into sixteen sharp points, creating a starburst silhouette of strong visual authority. Every line intersection is crisp and mathematically exact, giving the medallion a monumental presence even at distance.

The perimeter is finished with a delicate arabesque lace band — fine scrolling split-palmette tendrils contained within a multi-line angular frame — which softens the geometry and signals classical Ottoman-Seljuk heritage.
