About this design
The field presents a uniform, uninterrupted plain weave surface that draws the eye toward the lower border band. That border is composed of a continuous interlocking lattice of angular star forms and stepped strap elements, repeating horizontally in a tight, rhythmic sequence framed by two narrow guard stripes above and below.
This design is particularly well-suited to main prayer halls where rows of worshippers benefit from a calm, distraction-free field, with the geometric border providing clear directional orientation toward the qibla. It also works effectively along corridor runs and entrance vestibules where a strong linear statement is desired.
For importers: the plain field construction allows efficient production in large roll quantities with minimal pattern-matching waste, reducing installation costs significantly. The border stripe aligns precisely at 4 m roll width, simplifying side-by-side seaming on wide mosque floors.
