About this design
The field is entirely plain, offering an uninterrupted expanse that draws the eye toward the single decorative border running along the lower edge. That border is composed of a wide interlaced geometric band — continuous angular knot-work forming a rhythmic, interlocking diagonal lattice — flanked above by a narrow rope-twist or wave guard stripe that provides a refined transition between field and band.
The repeat structure is strictly horizontal, making this design ideal for saff (prayer-row) layouts in main prayer halls where a calm, distraction-free field is desired. The strong border line also works well along corridor lengths and side aisles, visually guiding worshippers toward the mihrab wall without competing with architectural ornamentation.
For importers, the plain-field construction simplifies room-size cutting and seaming, and the border's linear repeat aligns easily across roll widths. The design is available in multiple colorways and can be supplied in broadloom rolls; EN 13501-1 fire classification documentation is available upon request.
