About this design
The design presents a broad, uninterrupted plain field that draws the eye toward a single bold border strip positioned at the lower edge. The border carries a continuous arabesque scroll rhythm — sinuous stems branch into palmette finials and curling leaf forms, all framed by a narrow rope-twist guard stripe above and below.
The minimalist field-to-border ratio makes this design ideal for large main-hall installations where a calm, uncluttered prayer surface is desired, while the ornate border provides visual grounding along the qibla wall. It also performs well as a corridor runner, where the border reads as a strong directional edge.
The repeat is a horizontal mirror-symmetric scroll, allowing seamless side-by-side broadloom joining with no pattern offset. Importers should note that this design is available in standard 100 cm, 133 cm, and custom broadloom widths, and the plain field simplifies on-site cutting and fitting around columns or irregular floor plans.
