About this design
The field presents an uninterrupted, texture-free plain ground that maximises visual calm and keeps the worshipper's focus undisturbed. At the lower edge, a bold horizontal border band carries a repeating interlaced knot motif — angular, ribbon-like forms that lock into one another in a continuous chain across the full carpet width. Two narrow plain guard stripes frame the border above and below, giving the composition a crisp, architectural finish.
This design is ideally suited to main prayer halls where large congregations require uncluttered saff (row) layouts, and to corridor or entrance areas where a strong linear border provides directional guidance. The minimal field also pairs well beneath mihrab wall installations, allowing decorative architectural elements to remain the visual centrepiece.
Available in roll widths standard for mosque projects; the border is woven as an integral part of the carpet rather than a sewn-on strip, ensuring long-term durability under heavy foot traffic. Importers should note that this design qualifies for EN 13501-1 fire-classification testing upon request.
