About this design

The field is a smooth, uninterrupted plain weave, providing a calm, uncluttered ground ideal for congregational rows. Along the lower edge, a structured border band runs the full width: interlocking ogee arches form a continuous lattice, each cell enclosing a symmetrical quatrefoil composed of four paired circles. Thin double-line outlines sharpen every curve, while a row of smaller stacked-circle accents runs along both the upper and lower edges of the band, framing it with precision.

The horizontal repeat of the border is tight and regular, making it well-suited to main prayer halls where long saff lines must read as a unified whole. The plain field above the border keeps visual weight low, drawing the eye toward the qibla wall without distraction. Corridor and entrance-area installations also benefit from the strong linear rhythm of the ogee strip.
