About this design

The design pairs a completely plain, texture-free field with a single horizontal border strip positioned at the lower edge of each saff row. The border features a continuous floral-and-vine scroll composed of stylised rosette blooms, leafy tendrils, and small dotted accent motifs, all rendered in fine outline detail. The repeat is symmetrical and horizontally continuous, allowing seamless roll-to-roll installation across wide prayer halls.

The plain field makes this design exceptionally versatile for main prayer halls where visual calm and sightline clarity are priorities, while the ornate border strip provides the decorative punctuation expected in traditional mosque interiors. The motif vocabulary draws on classical Ottoman floral conventions, making it equally appropriate beneath a mihrab wall or along colonnaded corridors.
