About this design
This design features a broad, uninterrupted plain field that draws the eye toward a single bold horizontal border positioned at the lower register. The border carries a continuous repeat of stylised tulips, split-leaf arabesques, and symmetrical floral medallions arranged in a tight, rhythmic sequence — a hallmark of classical Ottoman ornamental vocabulary.
The clean field-to-border ratio makes this pattern ideal for large main prayer halls where visual calm is essential, while the ornate border provides the ceremonial definition expected near the mihrab wall. It also performs exceptionally well in wide corridor installations, where the border aligns naturally with the prayer row edge.
