Dual-Band Floral Saff Strip — Classic Ottoman Border Repeat

About this design
This line-strip design features a broad, unadorned saff field that draws the eye to two precisely engineered border bands running the full carpet width. The upper band presents a delicate repeating sequence of symmetrical floral rosettes alternating with oval cartouches, framed by fine guard stripes. The lower band is wider and more elaborate, displaying a continuous arabesque frieze of interlocking medallions filled with multi-petalled rosettes and scrolling vine tendrils, all contained within double guard lines.
The horizontal repeat is tight and mathematically consistent, making the pattern ideal for seamless row-to-row alignment across large main-hall installations. The plain field maximises visual calm between prayer rows, while the ornate lower border anchors the carpet against the mihrab wall or along corridor edges with architectural authority.
For importers: the strip format allows straightforward width-customisation without disrupting pattern continuity, and the design is available in 10 ready-stock colorways. EN 13501-1 fire-classification documentation is available upon request.
