A serene plain-field saff carpet anchored by a continuous arabesque border strip featuring interlocking scrollwork and symmetrical floral medallion accents.
About this design
This design pairs an expansive, uninterrupted plain field with a boldly articulated horizontal border band positioned at the lower register. The border presents a rhythmic repeat of interlocking curvilinear scrolls, paired crescent-like lobes, and small circular accent nodes, all contained within two narrow guard stripes that frame the motif cleanly. The repeat unit is horizontally continuous, making seamless roll-to-roll installation straightforward across wide prayer halls.
The plain field provides an uncluttered prostration zone ideal for large main-hall saff layouts, while the ornate border anchors the visual weight at the foot of each prayer row. The design also works well along mihrab-wall runners and corridor strips where the border faces outward as a decorative fascia.
For importers: the strip-format repeat simplifies custom-length cutting with minimal pattern waste. Available in 10 colorways; all variants share the same woven structure and are suitable for EN 13501-1 fire-classification documentation upon request.
