A serene, uninterrupted plain field anchored by a richly detailed Ottoman-style floral and arabesque border band. Ideal for saff-layout mosque interiors.
About this design
This design features a broad, solid plain field that creates a calm, meditative ground across the prayer area. The field is free of any interior motif, allowing worshippers' attention to remain undistracted. The single horizontal border strip at the lower edge carries a repeating sequence of stylised rosette medallions interlaced with flowing arabesque tendrils and fine geometric accent lines, all rendered in a tight, symmetrical repeat.
The plain-field format makes this design exceptionally versatile for main prayer halls where saff (row) alignment is paramount, while the ornate border strip adds architectural gravitas suited to mihrab-wall installations and corridor runners. The border's classical Ottoman vocabulary harmonises with traditional tilework and carved plasterwork found in historic and contemporary mosque interiors alike.
For importers, the strip-border construction simplifies on-site installation and seam matching, reducing waste during large-area fitting. The design is available in ten standard colorways and can be supplied in broadloom rolls or custom-cut panels. EN 13501-1 fire classification documentation is available upon request.
