About this design
This design pairs a vast, uninterrupted plain field with a precisely rendered horizontal border band at the lower edge. The border features a sinuous arabesque scroll — interlocking curved stems and split-leaf palmette motifs — framed by a narrow geometric diamond-dot guard stripe on each side, creating a layered, ribbon-like terminus.
The minimal field-to-border ratio makes this pattern exceptionally versatile: the open field encourages orderly saff (prayer-row) alignment in main halls, while the ornamental border provides a visual anchor along mihrab walls and qibla-facing edges. Corridor and gallery runs benefit from the strong horizontal rhythm of the scroll band.
For importers, the repeat structure is a straightforward horizontal tile, simplifying large-area production and reducing cut waste. The design is available in ten ready-stock colorways and can be supplied in broadloom widths up to 4 m; EN 13501-1 fire classification documentation is available upon request.
