About this design
The design presents a generous, uninterrupted plain field that draws the eye downward to a single dominant border band. That border is composed of a central arabesque register — rhythmically repeating pointed floral finials with scrolling acanthus infill — flanked above and below by narrow geometric guard stripes and a fine outline rule, creating a clear three-tier frame structure.
The restrained field-to-border ratio makes this pattern exceptionally versatile: the open field suits main prayer halls where worshippers require visual calm during salah, while the ornate border provides the architectural definition expected along mihrab walls and aisle edges. The repeat is a straightforward horizontal tile, simplifying installation alignment across wide saff runs.
For importers, the strip format minimises cutting waste on standard loom widths and allows mixed-width orders from the same design batch. The carpet meets EN 13501-1 fire classification requirements, and custom repeat spacing is available on request for projects with non-standard bay dimensions.
