This design pairs a broad, uninterrupted plain field with a single bold border band running along the lower edge. The border is built from a repeating interlocking eight-pointed star lattice, its negative spaces forming pointed petal and ogee forms that interlock seamlessly across the full carpet width — a classic Anatolian geometric vocabulary rendered in crisp outline work.

The plain field makes this design ideal for main prayer halls where rows of worshippers require visual calm and unobstructed saf alignment, while the ornate geometric border provides the architectural framing expected near mihrab walls and entrance thresholds.
