About this design
The field is a smooth, uninterrupted plain weave that draws the eye forward along the prayer rows, creating a calm and focused atmosphere for worshippers. The defining element is the horizontal border strip: a continuous band of interlaced octagonal frames linked by crossing diagonal bars, forming a chain-like geometric knot repeat that runs the full carpet width without interruption.
This saff-format layout is ideally suited to main prayer halls where long, unbroken rows are required, as well as corridor installations where the linear border acts as a natural directional guide. The restrained plain field also makes it an excellent companion piece to more ornate mihrab-wall panels.
The carpet is produced in a standard roll width with a consistent border-to-field ratio, simplifying installation planning for large-area projects. Available in 10 colorways from stock; custom colorway sampling is offered on minimum-order quantities. Compliant with EN 13501-1 fire classification requirements.
