About this design
This design features a broad, unadorned plain field that occupies the majority of the prayer surface, creating a calm and distraction-free prostration zone. The lower edge is defined by a bold horizontal border band composed of a continuously flowing arabesque scroll — interlocking curvilinear tendrils, leaf-tip flourishes, and pointed eye-shaped medallions — framed above and below by a narrow dot-and-dash guard stripe.
The line-strip repeat structure makes this design ideal for main prayer halls where clean saf (row) definition is the priority, as well as for wide corridor installations where a strong horizontal rhythm guides worshippers. The uncluttered field also suits mihrab-wall runner layouts where ornamental restraint is preferred.
For importers: the border is woven as an integral part of the broadloom repeat, eliminating the need for separate border pieces and simplifying on-site installation. Available in standard roll widths; custom cut-and-serge finishing is supported. Suitable for high-traffic mosque environments and compliant with EN 13501-1 fire classification requirements.
