A vast, uninterrupted plain field anchored by a richly detailed Ottoman-style border featuring pointed arch motifs, interlaced scrollwork, and fine linear banding.
About this design
The design presents a generous, unadorned field that maximises visual calm and spatial openness within a prayer hall. At the lower register, a structured border band combines a row of sharp pointed-arch (mukarnas-inspired) silhouettes with a secondary frieze of flowing arabesque scrollwork enclosed within precise geometric framing lines. The repeat is horizontal and continuous, making seamless roll-to-roll installation straightforward.
This layout is particularly well suited to large main-hall saff arrangements, where the plain field keeps worshippers' focus undistracted, while the ornate border defines the prayer-row edge with architectural authority. It also works effectively along mihrab-wall runners and wide corridor installations where a strong directional border reads clearly from a distance.
For importers, the clean field-to-border ratio means minimal pattern-matching waste during installation, reducing on-site labour costs. The design is available in ten ready-stock colorways and can be supplied in broadloom widths standard for mosque projects.
