A serene plain field anchored by a continuous rumi-scroll border. Flowing arabesque tendrils and split-palmette motifs create an elegant horizontal band across the saff width.
About this design
The design pairs an uninterrupted plain-weave field with a single bold border band running the full width of each saff row. The border features a rhythmic rumi-scroll repeat: interlocking curved tendrils, split-palmette terminals, and teardrop void spaces that create a lively yet balanced arabesque rhythm. The repeat unit is compact, allowing the pattern to tile seamlessly across any roll width without visible joins.
The plain field maximises visual calm and sightline clarity, making this layout ideal for large main-hall installations where worshippers require an uncluttered prayer surface. The ornate border provides sufficient decorative presence for mihrab-wall accent strips and corridor runners, framing the space without competing with architectural detail.
Available in ten ready-stock colorways, this design ships in standard 1 m, 1.5 m and customisable roll widths. The pile construction meets EN 13501-1 fire-classification requirements, and the border repeat is pre-matched at the loom for straightforward on-site installation.
