This design presents a clean, open field anchored at the lower register by a continuous row of overlapping semicircular arc motifs — a classic scallop or fish-scale wave pattern rendered in a tone-on-tone relief style. The arcs repeat at even horizontal intervals, creating a rhythmic, undulating border strip that reads as both geometric and organic. The upper field remains deliberately unadorned, allowing the border element to define the carpet's visual weight.

The understated elegance of the scallop-arc strip makes this design highly versatile for main prayer halls where a calm, non-distracting floor surface is preferred, as well as for corridor runners and transitional spaces leading toward the mihrab wall.
