About this design
The design pairs an unadorned, solid-field ground with a single horizontal border band positioned at the lower register. The border features a tightly interlaced geometric lattice built from eight-pointed star forms, elongated hexagons and crossing strap-work, all rendered in a crisp two-tone line repeat that tiles seamlessly across any roll width.
The restrained plain field makes this pattern ideal for main prayer halls where worshippers' prayer rugs or saff lines are layered on top, while the bold geometric border provides a strong visual terminus along walls, steps or corridor edges. The mihrab wall benefits from the border used as a framing strip, reinforcing architectural geometry without competing with decorative tilework.
Available in broadloom rolls; the border repeat is engineered for precise mitre-cutting at corners, simplifying installation for large-scale projects. EN 13501-1 fire-classification documentation is available upon request.
