Geometric Star-Lattice Border Strip — Clean Field Saff Design
A plain open field anchored by a structured horizontal border of interlocking eight-pointed star frames and diamond-dot guard stripes. Ideal for saff-layout mosque installations.
About this design
The field is a broad, uninterrupted plain ground that maximises the sense of space and focus during prayer. At the lower register, a bold border band presents a repeating sequence of interlocking eight-pointed star medallion frames — each unit connected by shared geometric nodes — creating a continuous lattice rhythm across the full carpet width.
Flanking the main border are two narrow guard stripes composed of evenly spaced small diamond dots, providing clean visual containment. The overall repeat is strictly horizontal, making this design ideal for saff (row-prayer) carpeting in main prayer halls, wide corridors, and entrance galleries where an uncluttered field with a strong directional border is preferred.
For importers: the simple repeat structure allows efficient roll-to-roll production with minimal pattern-matching waste during installation. Available in 10 standard colorways; custom widths can be accommodated for mihrab-wall accent strips.
