A tranquil plain field anchored by a continuous acanthus-scroll border strip, blending classical Ottoman botanical motifs with clean, uncluttered saff geometry.
About this design
The design features a broad, unadorned plain field that draws the eye inward and promotes a sense of calm during prayer. Along the lower register, a bold continuous border carries a rhythmic acanthus-scroll motif — curling stems, layered leaf clusters, and fluid vine connections repeat seamlessly across the full carpet width, creating an elegant visual terminus.
This line-strip format is ideally suited to main prayer hall saff layouts where rows of worshippers require an uninterrupted, distraction-free field, as well as corridor runners where the horizontal border acts as a strong directional guide. The restrained ornamentation also complements mihrab-wall panels without competing with architectural detailing.
Available in broadloom rolls for efficient installation across large floor areas; the single-border repeat simplifies seam matching, reducing on-site cutting waste — a practical advantage importers and fit-out contractors will appreciate.
