Repeating pointed-arch arcade with slender colonettes, diamond-shaft detailing, foliate spandrel frieze, and a dense Moorish interlace border. Classic saf layout for large prayer halls.
About this design
The field is structured as a continuous saf (prayer-row) repeat of tall, pointed horseshoe arches resting on slender colonettes with tiered bases and capitals. Each arch spandrel is filled with delicate foliate scrollwork, while the column shafts carry a stacked diamond-and-lozenge motif that adds vertical rhythm without interrupting the prayer orientation.
A broad upper frieze of interlocking floral vine crowns the arcade, transitioning into the arch zone with a fine striped border. The lower edge features a bold Moorish geometric interlace band — a tightly woven star-and-polygon lattice — that anchors the composition and provides a strong visual terminus for each prayer row. The overall repeat is horizontal, making the design ideal for main prayer halls, wide mihrab walls, and grand entrance corridors where uninterrupted saf lines are required.
Available in eight ready-stock colorways; custom sizing and pile-height options can be arranged with a minimum 500 m² order. The construction meets EN 13501-1 fire classification requirements, supporting straightforward import documentation for regulated markets.
